Counselling
Introduction
A combination of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy will help adults and children gain control of their lives.
Our qualified therapists work with children, young people and adults to help and support those struggling with their mental health. They will complete a pre-assessment to ensure the right support is put in place to ensure that they work towards the desired goals. Establishing a therapeutic relationship through acceptance, trust and empathy providing an opportunity to express and process feelings at their own level and pace.
It is distressing for an employee who is unable to fully function due to work-related problems and post traumatic experiences, or issues outside work, which can affect overall performance.
Counselling and other therapies can be provided to make a significant difference to employees, and can be a key way for an employer to show they care for their employees, as an effective human resources strategy.
After an incident has taken place, it can have an emotional impact on staff. We offer a support service allowing individuals the space and time to reflect on what happened and the impact it has left on them. Our therapists can work with the individuals to help them recover and protect their ability to function.
We offer supervision for employees that need time out to discuss their workload or cases, including Designated Safeguarding Leads allowing them the time and space to talk openly with any issues.

Our methods:
Various methods can be used to help feel physically relaxed but mentally alert to focus on areas of concern, including phobias, past events and habits.
In this state, the subconscious mind is most receptive to hypnotic suggestion. The relaxed state is similar to being completely absorbed in a movie, music, book, or absorbed in own thoughts or meditations. In this state, natural internal resources can be used to help make changes or regain control.
