Outdoor Education
Introduction
School visits have always been an integral part of a child’s education providing the opportunity to develop key personal and social skills. The experience of outside and adventure activities can be invaluable.
A small number of tragic accidents have led to concerns about the future of school visits and we recognise the need to balance the management of higher risk activities against potentially overly burdensome paperwork using sensible risk management. The endorsement of school visits are provided by Accredited Members of National Outdoor Educational Advisers Panel

Our online management portal:
- Will streamline the whole process of Education Visit Approvals
- Will ensure you are able to complete visits on-line, and will guide you through the information and requirements you need for your visit
- Will automatic send you confirmation throughout the process, so that you will know who has reviewed it and when it has been completed and approved.
- Will give you a fully auditable process, so that you are in total control and have up to date information to hand for all visits.
- Will provide detailed reports of all visits planned or previously undertaken, and even drill down to individual student profiles for visits.
- Is able to be used remotely, and through our APP, so you can access all relevant documentation, including critical incident and emergency plans in an emergency situation.

We provide an extensive range of Outdoor Education support services for Schools and Educational Settings.
Educational Visit Co-ordinator
This course is provided by an experienced trainer registered with the Outdoor Education Advisers Panel. The course covers aspects of the law related to educational visits, risk assessment of visits and the administrative requirements associated with off-site educational experiences.
Educational Visit Leader
Designed for teaching and support staff who lead and assist in the leadership of school parties on educational visits. The course includes an overview of the law associated with visits. Candidates will gain an understanding of the process of risk management, balancing risk with the benefits of taking the activity. A significant element of the course relates to practical guidance and advice associated with group management and safety in the outdoors.
